Salesperson was excellent until I came in to finalize sale. Then the price was raised $2,000 and I was charged $500 for a car on lot. I was not provided basic warranty information or total cost of each extended warranty. Drivers license office and loan office was given inaccurate information on cost of car. To this day over a month after sale, this has not been corrected.

The service department and dealership on the whole is much improved over Mobile Subaru. I did experience a frustrating problem after having the very expensive 30K mile service performed on my 2018 Forester, the next day the low windshield washer fluid level indicator illuminated. The fluid level had apparently not been checked, and certainly not refilled. This item is one of the listed items charged for on the service package. attention to detail, along with professionalism is valuable for customer satisfaction.

I am compelled to share my honest feedback after experiencing multiple disappointments with Tameron Subaru.
During my first encounter, I brought in my Legacy for its 6000-mile service. Specifically, I requested to check a negative camber adjustment on the rear tires. However, the technician mentioned rear wheels are as per design and performed a 4-wheel alignment which resulted in my steering wheel being noticeably tilted towards the left. After raising the concern with the advisor, they rectified the alignment, though it was an inconvenience to have it corrected.

I have bought cars, from the original Subaru dealer in Mobile. They made you feel valued. The dealership that bought it from them sucked. Then Tameron bought the dealership, I bought a used Forester, the check engine light came on pretty much after leaving the lot. They provided a loaner, repaired the immediate issues. The management and staff are always pleasant. They have returned to valuing the customer and business. Reminds of why I was loyal to the original owner. I get friendly and quality service. I purchased a new Ascent through Subaru of Mobile. The next week Tameron took ownership. I’ve had a seemingly simple issue not uncommon to this vehicle. After four visits to service, it’s still not fixed. They refuse to provide keys until you’ve signed paperwork, but refuse to provide copies or an explanation of what is to be signed. Bought my car Jun ‘21 from Koby, only to learn a few days later than it was becoming Subaru of Mobile. Long story short, gave up trying to communicate with the latter. When exactly did Tameron take ownership of S of Mobile? As with others, I was going to buy an Outback and when I saw the worksheet, 3k of dealer add-ons. Nope, it was more cost effective to go to Slidell (for me) but for others, Pensacola may be the way to go.
I was ready to buy a new Forester from this dealership, but when we sat down to work out the final total they added an extra $3k hidden costs (not shown anywhere on the MSRP or discussed previously by the salesman). This is in addition to the very high $899 doc fees they charge. Very deceptive, walk away.
Worst place ever. The staff will lie and try to hide their fees. They try to pressure you to buy. I like how many of these other reviews say," I love the free oil changes," well if you look at the fees..... you pay for all your oil changes up front for 15 years. How many people keep a vehicle for 15 years much less keep taking it to them for an oil change. These people are crooks.
Buyer beware. The salespeople and managers lie about fees and are deceitful. I will never do business with this dealership.
At closing on a vehicle. They would not explain the $3500 in fees... my loan officer from my bank showed me all of the add-ons that I never asked for or wanted. I tried to negotiate to take off the add-one such as the $1700 lifetime oil changes because I would not drive the distance to use them. They would not take that fee off. Terrible lack of customer service and failure to honor promises made to entice us to purchase a new Ascent from their dealership. This dealership has the feeling of contrived dishonesty and deceit. I will not buy another vehicle from them. Fair warning to avoid this dealership.
Since new ownership, service employees are rude. They don't return calls to give updates on vehicle that's been in the service dept for a straight 2 weeks and off and on for 2 months. Never see the same face. Three of the times the service dept "fixed" the wrong thing and had to take it back so not even sure that they know what their doing. Very disapointed in my subaru that's 2 years old and this dealership.
Koby Subaru was excellent! Subaru of Mobile is awful. Horrible service. Things not checked. Fluids not filled. Battery died eight days after I had my car serviced. Battery cable is covered with corrosion. Returned to the dealer, said they fixed it. Got home and still had no Freon added, wiper fluid, what else did they not do? Very difficult to reach you after your car has been serviced by them. Unfortunately, is the closest dealership to me. I feel like I lost trust in an old friend. Very discouraging.
The service and the dealership in general wS great before the current regime. Poor service, cant answer simple questions, sometimes outright rude. Never see the same face. Love my Outback will buy next one in Pensacola or elsewhere.

Website is misleading. Requested a rental car for my service . Stated 40$ a day . When I get there it’s 65$ a day and they stated they really don’t have cars for rental service . I connected with Subaru of Mobile in late September. The salesperson was polite, transparent, and extremely responsive. We finalized a deal at the end of the month for a car in transit. I flew down mid-Oct (WI -> AL), and did all the paperwork. Went smoothly. Again the salesman was very professional. Finance was fine, though I did not appreciate my friends at my local Subaru Dealership being questioned, but I let it go. Here is why I only gave two stars. Alabama issues 20-day temp plates. Worked with Cameron after putting an inquiry on a used Subaru. Drove all the way from the Panhandle to take a look at it. Came in with a challenging trade situation (recent damage and negative equity), never felt like the team wasn't working on getting me in a Subaru.

I was pushed into being sold a 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER Sport. This is the absolute worst vehicle I have ever driven. Its made with the cheapest material I have ever seen. And loaded with a bunch of irrelevant sale points. It is a $5000 vehicle with decked out with touch screen stereo garbage.

Had a not so good experience at a local dealership in Pensacola when my wife bought her first Subaru so I tried Koby's after looking on line. The salesperson, Mary Barras, was great and patient. I got my 2018 Outback cheaper than my wife's high end Forester and yet my Outback had more and better stuff and was newer. I also got a better warranty and other items that my wife did not get with hers. Shop Koby's in Mobile, not Subaru in Pensacola.

We bought a used Mercedes from Koby ; it required $500-$1000 monthly repairs. The service staff was helpful with each visit. When we spoke with Mr. Koby about the continual expense or repair, he stated,"You should have bought a better model." We were shocked at his response and never went back.
My daughter bought a car from Derrick at Koby. Everything was great and then we received a call from Derrick claiming he didn't know the car had a salvage title when he sold it to us. They agreed to let her get a different car or to reduce the price of the car. After talking with her she decided to keep the car she had and take a 500.00 reduction on the car. We were passing through Mobile on a road trip from Houston to the Smokey Mountains, and our Subaru started giving an engine check light, while disabling the cruise control option. I have had the easiest and most plesant time buying my car. This is the second car my family has bought from Koby Import Auto Inc. and both were at a great price. The dealership was very clean and professional. The paperwork was hassel free and quick. My wife is now looking at buying a car from Koby. I have told all my fellow employees about the great deal I got and where to go for their next car.
My husband and I were shopping for a car for one of my sons, I contacted Roger due to a past business relationship, told him we need a two to three year old car with low miles preferably trade in and a one owner. Roger and his staff went above and beyond to find what we wanted. We shopped the same model extensively and found his price was lower than most dealers for the same car with a lot more miles. I would not hesitate to recommend or buy another vehicle from Roger Koby and his staff.
Everyone I talked to at Kobe Subaru was friendly and helpful. Roger runs a tight ship and it shows everywhere. I would recommend his dealership to anyone looking for a fair deal.
My wife and I have bought three cars from Koby Subaru: Two new Subaru Foresters and a used, but pristine, ultra low mileage Miata.
Our 2006 Forester now has over 95,000 miles, and we have not had any problems with it. It's the first and only car I've ever owned that could go so many miles without any problems. Great experience in buying a Subaru Outback 2013. Good price, great service. No high pressure sales pitch, just good trade in offer and honest up front price on any of the four models we looked at (unlike another dealer we visited in Mobile).
The dealership really worked with me to meet my price range. I have brought my prior Subaru to the dealership for service over the years and have been most pleased. As anyone who has owned a Subaru knows they are very dependable and safe vehicles.
